The need to increase competitiveness is driven mainly by the increased customer requirements to the product of the milk - to its quality, price and service. In the dairy products industry the product itself is crucial and it should be considered a priority. Without this element the milk companies have nothing to distribute, advertise or sell. It must be competitive. The paper focuses on the evaluation of the competitiveness of the dairy companies in Greece.
