The textbook covers topical issues in the field of civil protection, including monitoring of hazards that may cause emergencies; legal and organizational framework of civil protection; peculiarities of planning civil protection measures; situation forecasting and organization of protection in emergencies; procedure for ensuring measures and actions within the unified civil protection system. The textbook is adapted to the content of the standard curriculum of the discipline “Civil Protection” for higher education institutions approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as the relevant work training programs for students of the University of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. The textbook contains theoretical material, examples of practical calculations, questions for self-control, test tasks for self-study, a glossary of terms, and a list of recommended readings. The publication is recommended for training of economic and legal specialists.
