Проаналізовано показники, які включаються до індикатору вирішення неплатоспроможності в рейтингу «Doing Business» з метою визначення проблем в сфері неплатоспроможності та банкрутства підприємств в Україні та можливих шляхів їх вирішення. The indicators and methodology for assessing the effectiveness of insolvency and bankruptcy procedures of enterprises in Ukraine based on the Doing Business project are considered. The place of Ukraine in the overall ranking of countries according to the overall rating indicator and the indicator of solving insolvency is given. The indicators, which are included in the indicator of solving insolvency in the "Doing Business" rating are analysed in order to identify problems in the area of insolvency and bankruptcy of enterprises in Ukraine and possible ways of solving them. The assessment of the effectiveness of procedures of insolvency and bankruptcy of domestic enterprises is important from the point of view of the formation of effective tools for solving insolvency problems of enterprises in Ukraine, because it is thanks to the efficiency of these procedures the issues of restoring the solvency of enterprises that have been in a crisis are solved or the issues of satisfaction of the property rights of creditors in order to ensure sustainable balanced economy development. In addition, the effectiveness of the operation of this institution influences decision-making of foreign investors concerning the attractiveness of doing business in one or another country. Therefore, it is important to determine the indicators on the basis of which it is worth assessing the effectiveness of procedures of insolvency and bankruptcy of domestic enterprises in order to improve the functioning of the bankruptcy institute in Ukraine.
