Розкрито внесок українських психологів у розгортання індивідуального підходу до навчання в закладах початкової й середньої освіти; становлення та розвиток психологічної служби в школі як інструменту вособистнення процесів навчання та виховання дітей; зрушення в структурі й діяльності закладів початкової та середньої освіти, в освіті національних меншин, у підручникотворенні. The monograph describes the processes of individualization in school education in Ukraine, starting from the first years of independence, outlines ways to evolve the mechanisms of humanization and optimization of school education (1991–2010). Illuminated educational policy of the state in the field of introduction of personally oriented education. The contribution of Ukrainian psychologists to the deployment of an individual approach to teaching in primary and secondary education institutions is revealed; formation and development of psychological service at school as a tool for personification of the processes of education and upbringing of children; changes in the structure and activity of primary and secondary education institutions, in the education of national minorities, in textbook creation.
