One of the vessels of the external carotid system, which suffers from this pathology most frequently, is the facial artery. The article describes a clinical case of the facial artery pseudoaneurysm, which was formed as a result of subperiosteal abscess lancing (synonym: periosteotomy) performed in the area of a tooth #36. The features of the clinical picture, diagnostic algorithms and the choice of treatment approach in such cases are discussed. The successful experience of angiography application and endovascular embolization of the facial artery in this patient is presented. popup.nrat_date 2025-04-07 Close
