Так, республіканська форма правління зазвичай поділяється на президентські, парламентські і змішані республіки. Саме їх В. Шаповал визначає як сновні, водночас виділяючи різновиди, «які можна класифікувати окремо від основних». Така точка зору, на нашу думку, є не зовсім коректною, адже дозволяє припустити, що, поряд з основними, можуть існувати ще й якісь інші, неосновні, республіканські форми. The question of differentiation of the main forms of government existing today is rather complicated. Yes, the republican form of government is usually divided into presidential, parliamentary, and mixed republics. It is V. Shapoval who defines them as dreamlike, while distinguishing varieties that can be classified separately from the main ones.
