The thesis is devoted to the research of biological productivity of forests of the National natural park «Holosiivskyi», development of models for assessing the stock of live biomass, determination of the amount of deposited carbon and produced oxygen of the park's stands. The analysis of characteristics of the forest stands of the National natural park «Holosiivskyi» was carried out. Temporary sample plots in the research area have been made aimed to the estimate the biotic potential of the forests of the park. The regression equations of the biomass expansion factors of live biomass components for the main forest species of the National natural park «Holosiivskyi» have been obtained, taking into account the taxation characteristics of the investigated stands and the regional specifics of forest ecosystems. A separate calculation of live biomass of forests of the park and its density is carried out. The carbon sequestration role of forests in the absorption of carbon dioxide emissions in the study area is calculated as well as volumes of oxygen production Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата сільськогосподарських наук зі спеціальності 06.03.02 «Лісовпорядкування та лісова таксація». Дисертацію присвячено дослідженню біологічної продуктивності лісів Національного природного парку «Голосіївський», розробленню моделей оцінки запасів фітомаси, визначенню обсягів депонованого вуглецю та продукованого кисню деревостанами парку. Проведено аналіз лісівничо-таксаційної структури деревостанів Національного природного парку «Голосіївський». Для оцінки біотичного потенціалу лісів парку закладено тимчасові пробні площі у регіоні дослідження. Отримано регресійні рівняння конверсійних коефіцієнтів компонентів фітомаси для головних лісотвірних порід Національного природного парку «Голосіївський», які враховують таксаційну структуру досліджуваних насаджень та регіональні особливості лісових екосистем. Здійснено повидільний розрахунок запасів фітомаси лісів парку та її щільності. Визначено вуглецедепонувальну роль лісів у поглинанні викидів діоксиду вуглецю в регіоні дослідження.
