The dissertation is devoted to edetermining the peculiarities of the legal status of forests of reformed collective agricultural enterprises. The research identifies the main stages of formation and development of peasant forests in Ukraine. The main directions of limitation of peasants in the use of forest resources during the development of state-legal processes are presented. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the main features of the legal concept of forest. As a result of the analysis, land-legal, floristic and ecosystem approaches to the understanding of the forest as an object of legal regulation are singled out. The role and place of the forests of reformed collective agricultural enterprises in the modern legal system of Ukraine has been determined, as well as the foreign experience of the post-Soviet countries in the part of the succession of former collective farms forests has been analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the problems of the legal regime of shelter belts, other protective stands, as well as the legal characterization of forest self-reproduction areas of agricultural lands. On the basis of the conducted research the theoretical conclusions were formulated and proposals on the improvement of the current legislation concerning the legal regime of forests of reformed agricultural enterprises were formulated Дисертація на здобуття наукового ступеня кандидата юридичних наук зі спеціальності 12.00.06 «Земельне право; аграрне право; екологічне право; природо ресурсне право». Дисертацію присвячено з’ясуванню особливостей правового положення лісів реформованих колективних сільськогосподарських підприємств. У ході дослідження виокремлено основні етапи становлення і розвитку селянських лісів на території України. Окремо наведено основні напрями обмеження селян у використанні лісових ресурсів у ході розвитку державноправових процесів. Значну увагу приділено аналізу основних ознак юридичного поняття лісу. Внаслідок проведеного аналізу виокремлено земельно-правовий, флористичний та екосистемний підходи до розуміння лісу як об’єкта правового регулювання. Визначено роль та місце лісів колишніх колективних сільськогосподарських підприємств у сучасній правовій системі України, а також проаналізовано зарубіжний досвід країн пострадянського простору в частині правонаступництва колишніх колгоспних лісів. Окрему увагу приділено проблемам правового режиму полезахисних лісових смуг, інших захисних насаджень, а також юридичній характеристиці самозаліснених ділянок сільськогосподарських угідь.
