The monograph highlights the genesis of the theory and methods of teaching physics in Ukraine through the prism of socio-cultural, socio-political and historical-pedagogical determinants. It substantiates the phenomenon of authenticity of Ukrainian methodological thought in physics as a social institution in the priorities of national education and pedagogy. The sources of its origin, features of formation, transformation of the content, methods and organizational forms of teaching physics are comprehensively covered. The evolution of scientific views of Ukrainian scientists and teachers of different times in the dimensions of current problems of modern methods of teaching physics in Ukraine is reconsidered and generalized.
