У І розділі закцентовано увагу на можливостях та особливостях наскрізного навчання філософії на основі роботи з текстами першоджерел, візуальними матеріалами та поняттями. Розділ ІІ присвячений питанням теорії та практики компетентнісного орієнтованого навчання історії України учнів ліцею. У розділі ІІІ визначено теоретико-методичні засади реалізації етнокультурного складника у набутті громадянської компетентності учнів ліцею та розкрито освітній потенціал етнокультурного змісту шкільного курсу історії України в 10-11класах. Розділ ІV підіймає питання навчання учнів ліцею дискутуванню та аргументуванню як важливих умінь людини для становлення громадянського суспільства та як завдання шкільної громадянської освіти. Для вчителів історії та громадянської освіти, викладачів вищих педагогічних освітніх закладів, закладів післядипломної педагогічної освіти, студентів педагогічних факультетів та педагогічних університетів. The methodological manual "Topical issues of competence-oriented teaching of history and civic education in the lyceum" has four sections. Chapter I focuses on the possibilities and features of end-to-end teaching of philosophy based on work with texts of primary sources, visual materials and concepts. Chapter II is devoted to the theory and practice of competency-oriented teaching of Ukrainian history to lyceum students. Section III defines the theoretical and methodological principles of implementation of the ethnocultural component in the acquisition of civic competence of lyceum students and reveals the educational potential of ethnocultural content of the school history of Ukraine in grades 10-11. Chapter IV raises the issue of teaching lyceum students to discuss and argue as important human skills for the formation of civil society and as a task of school civic education.
