The organizational and legal bases of decentralization in Ukraine in accordance with the current Ukrainian legislation are analyzed. The main goals of decentralization of power, as well as its benefits have been identified. Today, the implementation of decentralization in Ukraine and the formation of local authorities is one of the main and urgent task for Ukraine as a democratic state.
