By revealing the essence and development of the franchise system, pointing advantages and disadvantages of franchising, identification of problems and prospects of franchising in Ukraine, researching of “Crocodile” restaurant in Sumy, development of franchise plans for the restaurants under the “Crocodile” brand the thesis suggests recommendations about opening the restaurants under the trademark “Crocodile” on a franchise basis. It contains theoretical principles of a franchise and a detailed plan that describes all the stages needed to start a new business under the trademark “Crocodile”, such as audit of demand for restaurant franchises, controlling standards, financial model and the description of the business processes.
