Застосування інструментальних сталей в якості конструкційних і для інших умов експлуатації вимагає знання таких властивостей сталей, які раніше мало вивчали, в першу чергу в'язкість, опір знакозмінних навантажень і контактної витривалості в різних структурних станах. У сучасному машинобудуванні для підвищення довговічності відповідальних деталей широко використовують процеси термічної обробки, з яких найбільшого поширення набули гартування і відпуск. В результаті застосування цих методів термічної обробки підвищується зносостійкість деталі, зростає втомна міцність та інші характеристики сталей. Перспективним напрямом вдосконалення технології термічної обробки є інтенсифікація процесів нагріву, установка агрегатів для термічної обробки. Передача гвинт-гайка – гвинтова механічна передача, що перетворює обертальний рух на поступальний, або навпаки. У загальному випадку вона складається з гвинта та гайки. The relevance of the work lies in the fact that recently there has been a significant change in the development and use of tool steel. The use of tool steels as structural and other operating conditions requires knowledge of such properties of steels that were previously little studied, primarily toughness, resistance to sign loads and contact endurance in various structural states. In modern mechanical engineering, to increase the durability of critical parts, heat treatment processes are widely used, of which quenching and tempering are most widely used. As a result of the application of these heat treatment methods, the wear resistance of the part increases, fatigue strength and other characteristics of steels increase. A promising direction for improving the technology of heat treatment is the intensification of heating processes, the installation of units for heat treatment. Transmission screw-nut – screw mechanical transmission that converts rotational motion into translational or vice versa. In general, it consists of a screw and a nut.
