The regulation of labor migration is very important, since the dynamics of labor migration can have a huge impact on the socio-economic situation in the countries of origin, transit or destination of migrants. In the latter, labor migration can help rejuvenate the workforce, support labor-intensive industries such as agriculture, construction and personal services, stimulate entrepreneurship, support social safety nets, and help meet staffing needs.
