Economic diplomacy in the narrow sense is concerned with issues of international economic policy, such as how to maintain global financial stability without unduly high levels of youth unemployment and unruly levels of justifiable levels of civil unrest; and how to stimulate economic growth, especially in the poorest countries, by stopping or at least slowing climate change.
