У зв'язку з цим екологічна освіта та екологічне виховання стають новим освітнім пріоритетом. Досвід країн ЄС показує, що, спираючись на принципи екологічної політики країни, високий рівень екологічної культури та активну позицію людини щодо охорони довкілля, можна покращити стан довкілля. Водночас високий рівень екологічної культури неможливий без екологічного виховання, яке має здійснюватися на основі комплексності та наступності виховання. Також слід зазначити, що необхідно виховувати в людях екологічну свідомість, а не просто вчити. Пасивність самої людини є однією з причин низької екологічної свідомості, тому питання екологічної освіти є дуже актуальним у сучасному суспільстві. The current environmental situation prompts a rapid restructuring of the thinking of mankind and each individual person, the formation of environmental consciousness and culture. In this regard, environmental education and environmental upbringing are becoming a new educational priority area. The experience of the EU countries shows that, based on the principles of the country's environmental policy, a high level of environmental culture and an active position of a person in environmental protection, it is possible to improve the state of the environment. At the same time, a high level of environmental culture is impossible without environmental education, which should be carried out on the basis of the complexity and continuity of education. It should also be noted that it is necessary to cultivate environmental consciousness in people, and not just teach.
