In the first chapter the overview of the injection molding process was made. Machine and material selection issues as well as design for injection molding problem where considered. An example of part manufacturing was provided. In the second chapter main results of the development of the manufacturing process for the “Housing of a guide” part is presented. Sequence of operations was developed, including selection of CNC machines for machining operations, cutting tools, and cutting conditions. The two fixtures were developed for manufacturing operations. The NC code for CNC machines was developed. Cost estimation was performed for casting the 1st machining operation. The graphic part consists of 6 sheets of A1 format, as follows: 1. Injection Molding Process overview 2. Drawings and 3D models of the “Housing of a Guide” part and a blank 3. Manufacturing operation presentation for the 1st operation 4. Manufacturing operation presentation for the 2nd operation 5. Fixture setup for the 1st and 2nd manufacturing operation 6.
