Завдання роботи полягають у: визначити сутність урбанізації як глобального економічного процесу, ознайомитись з явищем «нового урбанізму» як ідеологією розвитку cучасного міста, дослідити сучасні особливості процесів урбанізації в Україні, вивчити вплив урбанізації на економічний розвиток м. Києва, визначити можливості для України крізь призму світової урбанізації. Об’єктом дослідження економічний розвиток міст в умовах урбанізаційних змін. Предметом дослідження теоретичні положення економічного розвитку міст в умовах урбанізації. The purpose of the work is to study the influence of urbanization processes on the economic development of Ukrainian cities with the aim of developing recommendations for their regulation in the context of the formation of an economically favorable environment in cities. The tasks of the work are: to determine the essence of urbanization as a global economic process, to get acquainted with the phenomenon of "new urbanism" as an ideology of the development of a modern city, to investigate the modern features of urbanization processes in Ukraine, to study the impact of urbanization on the economic development of the city of Kyiv, to determine opportunities for Ukraine through the prism world urbanization. The object of research is the economic development of cities in the conditions of urbanization changes.
