Goal: study of the peculiarities of the translation of political metaphors in English-language texts. Theoretical meaning: The theoretical significance of the study of the use of figurative expressions in political speeches in English and their translation into Ukrainian lies in the understanding of the mechanisms of the influence of language on public opinion and the formation of a political image.
