Завданням промислової політики може бути досягнення високого рівня дифузії середньотехнологічних інновацій в виробничі процеси і, таким чином, створення умов для швидкої імплементації у виробництва будь-якої інновації (приклад Німеччини). Водночас фокусом промислової політики може виступати паритет низько-, середньо та високотехнологічного експорту (приклад Китаю). Різні комбінації високо-середньо- чи низькотехнологічного виробництва/експорту дозволяють країнам досягати сталих позицій в промисловому розвитку. One of the indicators of the country's industrial development is the share of high-, medium-, and low-tech industrial exports. The task of industrial policy may be to achieve a high level of diffusion of medium-tech innovations in production processes and, thus, to create conditions for the rapid implementation of any innovation in production (the example of Germany). At the same time, the focus of industrial policy can be the parity of low-, medium-, and high-tech exports (the example of China).
