Adaptation and transformation are considered different processes but can overlap, so transformation includes adaptation to new conditions. But it can be the other way around when the gradual adaptation of socio-economic systems leads to transformation. Adapting modern enterprises to transformational changes requires adjustment (adaptation) of human capital to new business conditions. To a greater extent, the work is devoted to these aspects. Особливої наукової уваги сьогодні потребує дослідження процесів адаптації сучасних підприємств до адитивного (цифрового) виробництва в умовах трансформаційних змін біфуркаційно-проривного характеру. Адаптація та трансформація вважаються різними процесами, але можуть збігатися, тому трансформація включає адаптацію до нових умов. Але може бути й навпаки, коли поступова адаптація соціально-економічних систем призводить до трансформації. Адаптація сучасних підприємств до трансформаційних змін вимагає пристосування (адаптації) людського капіталу до нових умов господарювання.
