The work examines the essence of the state of activity of the subjects of the water management industry of the Kyiv region, the prospects for development and modernization in the direction of energy saving and increasing energy efficiency. The theoretical and methodological foundations of energy saving in the water management industry as drivers of the region's development are defined; elements of cluster analysis in energy efficiency research; analysis of the use of energy resources; analysis of state energy saving programs; consideration and research of the implementation of energy saving programs in the water management industry using the example of the activities of the Interregional Office of the Dnipro Reservoirs' Protective Arrays.
