The objective of this thesis is to develop a manufacturing process for the “Hous ing”part. A sequence of manufacturing operations was developed. The work includes the selection of casting operation,design of manufacturing proscess selection of machining center, cutting tools, cutting dates, and costing estimations, among other things. For one manufacturing operations, fixtures were developed, and the corresponding setups are presented in the graphical section of the work. Economic analysis was conducted for the initial manufacturing operation. Some computer software is utilized: Siemens NX and Solidworks for 3D modeling of workpiece and assemble and install of fixture. NX CAM to develop the machining toolpaths . CAE system to estimate the tool defelction. The graphic part consists of 6 sheets of A1 format, as follows: 1. Tool deflection during finish boring process. 2. Drawing of 3D model and a blank 3.
