With the rise of the popularity of applications that do not feature censorship, such as Telegram, the capabilities for the propaganda reach increase. Russian regime uses its net of Telegram Channels to spread misinformation and pro-kremlin narratives to influence Ukrainins’ morale and decision making. In this work, we leverage LLMs to address the problem of automatic propaganda detection in Telegram Channels. We focus on the binary text classification task.
