Everyone uses the method that they consider to be the most effective. But the time of technology is passing, when people constantly, even casually, without thinking, grab their phones at every service opportunity. That’s why mobile apps for learning are so popular. The aim of research is to analyze the role of mobile devices in studying foreign language. “The technology of learning English using mobile devices is a form of organizing an autonomous and personalized educational process, in which the main or dominant technology is mobile communication devices, with the help of which students can develop and improve language and speech skills (due to synchronous and asynchronous communication), to form sociocultural and intercultural competences in order to use a foreign language as a method of communication in social, everyday and professional spheres"[2, 50 p.].
