The study examines the peculiarities of economic turnover of land in Ukraine after the adoption of the 1996 Constitution, which established three forms of ownership: state, communal and private. Land has acquired the status of a commodity that can be sold, bought and generated profit. It is emphasized that the theoretical foundations of economic land turnover remain insufficiently developed.
