The competence approach as a basis of preparation of masters - teachers of higher school is considered in the work; the essence of gender competence of masters-teachers of higher school is analyzed; the peculiarities of teaching modern students in the process of forming gender competencies by means of information technology are studied; pedagogical aspects of the use of information technologies in the process of forming the gender competence of master teachers are revealed; methodical recommendations for the use of information technologies as a means of improving the effectiveness of the formation of gender competencies of masters - teachers.
