Об`єктом дослідження є процес і стан розвитку міського туризму у найбільших історичних центрах світу в епоху загальносвітових глобалізаційних тенденцій. Предметом дослідження є теоретико-методичні основи і перспективи розвитку міського туризму у найбільших історичних центрах світу в сучасних кризових умовах і його вплив на розширення спектру послуг туристичної індустрії світу. У першому розділі розглянуто теоретико-методологічні основи дослідження розвитку міського туризму, у другому проаналізовано стан розвитку міського туризму в світі в епоху загальносвітових глобалізаційних тенденцій. Проведене дослідження засноване на офіційній інформації, що публікується міжнародними організаціями: Всесвітньої туристської організації (UNWTO), Всесвітньої ради з туризму та подорожей (WTTC). Висновки. Наукову цінність даної роботи складає сукупність результатів теоретико-методологічного та практичного характеру: досліджено теоретичні основи, сутність, фактори розвитку та основні функції урботуризму; вивчено фактори організації та розвитку сучасного урботуризму; досліджено основні туристські функції міст світу та сприйняття і розвиток урботуризму; вивчено сучасний стан розвитку індустрії туризму у світі і вплив туристської політики; досліджено і проаналізовано стан і тенденції розвитку туризму в найбільших історичних містах світу; визначено і обґрунтовано перспективні напрями розвитку міського туризму і його вплив на розширення спектру послуг туристичної індустрії світу. The main goal of the qualification (bachelor's) work is the systematization of theoretical provisions, the analysis of the dynamics and trends of the development of urban tourism in the largest historical centers of the world. The object of research is the process and state of development of urban tourism in the largest historical centers of the world in the era of worldwide globalization trends. The subject of the study is the theoretical and methodological foundations and prospects of the development of urban tourism in the largest historical centers of the world in modern crisis conditions and its impact on the expansion of the range of services of the world's tourism industry. In the first chapter, the theoretical and methodological foundations of the study of the development of urban tourism are considered, in the second, the state of the development of urban tourism in the world in the era of worldwide globalization trends is analyzed. The conducted research is based on official information published by international organizations: the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). Conclusions. The scientific value of this work is a set of results of a theoretical, methodological and practical nature: the theoretical foundations, essence, development factors and main functions of urbotourism have been investigated; the factors of the organization and development of modern urban tourism were studied; the main tourist functions of the cities of the world and the perception and development of urban tourism were investigated; the current state of development of the tourism industry in the world and the influence of tourism policy are studied; the state and trends of tourism development in the largest historical cities of the world were investigated and analyzed; perspective directions of the development of urban tourism and its influence on the expansion of the range of services of the world's tourism industry are determined and substantiated.
