Визначено актуальність впровадження у виробництво сучасних сортів, їх особливості росту і розвитку в умовах лісостепової зони України. Аналіз ґрунтово-кліматичних умов проведених досліджень показав, що вони є типовими для лісостепової зони України, мали певні відмінності по рокам та відхилення від середньо- багаторічних показників, що дало змогу встановити вплив досліджуваних факторів на ріст і розвиток рослин та реалізацію потенціалу урожайності культури. Досліджуючи 6 сортів помідора встановили, що умови 2020 та 2021 рр. були сприятливими для вирощування помідора, що дало можливість отримати в середньому за два роки максимальну урожайність сорту Загадка (29,2 т/га), яка вище на 116 % урожайності контрольного сорту Ефемер. Максимальний рівень рентабельності отримано у сорту Загадка, який дорівнював 132 %, у сортів Санька -107 %, Мобіл – 128 %. In the qualification work, an analysis of scientific research on biological features of tomato growth and development, varietal diversity was carried out. The relevance of introducing modern varieties into production, their growth and development features in the conditions of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine was determined. The analysis of the soil and climatic conditions of the conducted studies showed that they are typical for the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine, had certain differences by year and deviations from the average long-term indicators, which made it possible to establish the influence of the studied factors on the growth and development of plants and the realization of the yield potential of the crop. Studying 6 varieties of tomato, it was established that the conditions of 2020 and 2021 were favorable for growing tomatoes, which made it possible to obtain the maximum yield of the Zagadka variety (29.2 t/ha) in an average of two years, which is 116% higher than the yield of the control variety Ephemer .
