Мета роботи: проаналізувати поняття концепт, а також поняття перекладацьких трансформацій на основі обраного роману “The Shining” з англійської мови на українську. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові визначення поняття концепт, а також положення теорії перекладу лінгвостилістичних особливостей. В роботі використовувалися наукові матеріали таких дослідників, як В. Карабан, О. Селіванова, І. Корунець та інші.Отримані результати: в ході дослідження були розглянуті багаточисленні дефініції поняття концепт та класифікації перекладацьких трансформацій. В роботі проаналізовано концепт HORROR та способи його відтворення у художньому тексті. EN : The presented paper considers the concept of HORROR, as well as translation transformations based on one of Stephen King’s cult novels “The Shining”.The object of the work can be defined as the original novel of one of Stephen King’s cult novels “The Shining” and its translation into Ukrainian by Oleksandr Krasyuk. The main aim of the work is to define the concept and translation transformations in the translation from English to Ukrainian. It determined the accomplishment of such goals as: - research of the general notion of the concept and identification of the peculiarities of the concepts and their translation - familiarize yourself with translation transformations; - analyze the concepts and translation transformations of the selected work of art. Based on the classification proposed by Shevchenko, we were able to investigate the multifaceted concept of horror in the novel “The Shining”. Three methods of translation in the novel “The Shining” are distinguished: addition, omission and reordering. The scientific novelty of the presented research lies in the study of the peculiarities of the translation of the horror concept on the material of the cult Steven King’s novel “The Shining”. popup.nrat_date 2025-11-10 Close
