У роботі представлено огляд інформаційних джерел зі стану дубових лісів в Україні та показано різнобічну роль лісової підстилки у лісовій екосистемі. Охарактеризовано типи лісової підстилки та особливості формування кожного з типів. Показано, що лісова підстилка має прямий вплив на верхню частину ґрунтів та опосередковано впливає на деревостан. Наведено природно-кліматичні умови та лісотипологічну характеристику лісів району дослідження. За результатами дослідження: надано комплексну характеристику типу лісу – свіжа кленова липова діброва, яка слугувала об’єктом дослідження; доведено, що формування та властивості лісової підстилки залежать від комплексу біотичних та абіотичних чинників, зокрема дендрогенного поля едифікатора, розташування за рельєфом. Наведено висновки та рекомендації. The graduate work is devoted to the study of the formation and main characteristics of the forest litter in the oak phytocenosis of the forest-steppe part of the Kharkiv region. The paper presents an overview of information sources on the state of oak forests in Ukraine and shows the versatile role of the forest litter in the forest ecosystem. The types of forest litter and the formation features of each type are characterized. It is show that the forest litter has a direct effect on the upper part of the soil and indirectly affects the tree stand. The natural and climatic conditions and forest typological characteristics of the forests of the study area are given. According to the results of the study: a comprehensive characteristic of the forest type is provided - fresh maple linden oakery, which served as the object of the study; it is proven that the formation and properties of the forest litter depend on a set of biotic and abiotic factors, in particular, the dendrogenic field of the edificator, location on the relief.
