Джерелами інформації для підготовки обзору виступили публікації із академічних баз даних : Web of Science, Science-Direct, Scopus, GoogleScholar. Наукову цінність даної роботи складає сукупність наступних результатів теоретико-методологічного та практичного характеру: досліджено теоретичні аспекти державного розвитку туристичної сфери ; вивчено сучасні та міжнародні принципи розвитку туризму; досліджено технічне застосування бізнес-стандартів сталого туризму; вивчено глобальні та національні тренди розвитку туризму у сучасних умовах; досліджено і проаналізовано вплив туристичної індустрії на світову та національну економіку: розвиток малого та середнього бізнесу у сфері туризму; досліджено Стратегію розвитку туризму на міжнародному і національному рівнях ( на прикладі Стратегії розвитку туризму ЦАРЕС до 2030 року та супутню їй регіональну рамкову програму інвестицій у туризм на 2021–2025 роки ); вивчено аспекти управління туризмом як інструментом сталого розвитку регіону; досліджено і обґрунтувати проблеми і перспективи розвитку міжнародного туризму в сучасних умовах; обґрунтовано напрями удосконалення управління екскурсійними послугами у туризмі. Наукова новизна дослідження полягає у визначенні головні аспектів глобальних Стратегій розвитку туризму на міжнародному і національному рівнях і обґрунтування перспективних напрямів управління туризмом як інструментом сталого розвитку регіону. The purpose of the study is to systematize theoretical provisions in the field of digital (electronic) tourism and determine the impact of information technologies on the development of international tourism. The sources of information for the preparation of the review were publications from academic databases: Web of Science, Science-Direct, Scopus, GoogleScholar. The scientific value of this work is the set of the following results of a theoretical, methodological and practical nature: the theoretical aspects of the state development of the tourism sector were studied; modern and international principles of tourism development were studied; the technical application of business standards for sustainable tourism was studied; global and national trends in tourism development in modern conditions were studied; the impact of the tourism industry on the world and national economy was studied: the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the tourism sector was studied and analyzed; the Strategy for Tourism Development at the international and national levels was studied (on the example of the CAREC Tourism Development Strategy until 2030 and the accompanying regional framework program for tourism investments for 2021–2025); aspects of tourism management as a tool for sustainable development of the region were studied; problems and prospects for the development of international tourism in modern conditions were studied and substantiated; directions for improving the management of excursion services in tourism were substantiated.
