The object is the professional training of future art/music art teachers. The subject is the modern content, methods, technologies, educational and methodological support of this training, based on the historical achievements, theory, experience of Ukrainian and foreign art/music-pedagogical education. The goal: to scientifically substantiate, develop and implement the modern content, methods, technologies, educational and methodological support of the professional training of future art/music teachers. Methods: analysis, synthesis, generalization of theoretical sources; observation, questionnaires, interviews, testing. The study substantiates, develops, and implements updated content, methods, and technologies of professional training. Its historical and comparative aspects were studied; development challenges caused by digitalization, the transition to online learning, mastering the latest digital tools, overcoming the digital divide were identified. Common development trends in Ukraine and abroad were identified: competency-based orientation, integration, digitalization, orientation towards personal and professional development and preservation of national cultural heritage. Methodological tools for students to master modern digital technologies of artistic activity (virtual choirs, music and visual mastering, VR/AR) were developed and tested. The results were implemented in the educational process of HEI, SEI, the system of advanced training of teachers, used to update the OP, create electronic educational resources. Prospects for further digitalization of artistic and pedagogical education on competency-based and integrative principles with the preservation of traditional cultural heritage were outlined.
