The article is devoted to the coverage of one of the topical topics of legal regulation of the conclusion of an employment contract with non-fixed working hours and the problematic issues of its application. The legislator, by making changes to the labor legislation, aimed to legalize the labor relations of employees who perform work on a non-permanent basis. But whether it will be possible to achieve this will definitely be shown only by the practice of applying an employment contract with non-fixed working hours. And taking into account the fact that in recent years both employers and employees have become accustomed to concluding civil law contracts or informal employment, such a legislative decision was made with considerable delay, and it will be extremely difficult to legalize labor relations in case of irregular employment by concluding an employment contract with non-fixed working hours.
