In the light of the interdisciplinary combination of scientific strategies and conceptualizations, military modernity in Ukraine is represented as a complex civilizational conflict, which rests on an ancient historical foundation. In the process of implementing the project, it is envisaged to work out a number of relevant research tasks: a) highlighting the socio-cultural nature of Russia's neo-imperial project as the basic basis of the modern civilizational confrontation with the democratic world; b) the understanding of tectonic temporal metamorphoses in the age of globalization caused by the full-scale stage of the Russian-Ukrainian war; c) delineation of the current state of the Russian-Ukrainian border as the terrain of a fierce competition of identities; d) clarifying the prospects, opportunities and challenges that Ukrainian society faced in the process of European integration; e) analysis of modern trends and strategies of "battles for history" in the field of historical memory, knowledge policy, cultural, educational and information policy, which have acquired new meanings in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict from the early modern era to our time; f) deconstruction of Russian historical narratives, which are used to justify and legitimize the military-political aggression of modern Russia against Ukraine. popup.nrat_date 2024-12-09 Close
