The relationship between the stress intensity factors for bodies with sharp angular cuts and maximum stresses and their gradients at the corresponding rounded vertices is obtained for a plane (I, II type strain) and antiplane (type III) problems. On this basis, the proposed method for determination the stress intensity factors at the vertices of sharp angular notches using solutions of the corresponding two-dimensional problems of the theory of elasticity and axisymmetric torsional problems for bodies with rounded V-shaped notches that are obtained by singular integral equations. The test specimens with U and V-shaped notches is developed for experimental studies on the strength of structural elements with stress concentrators, and study patterns of crack nucleation near the vertices of notches cut. A singular integral-differential equations of two-dimensional dynamical problems for elastic domains with curvilinear cracks are constructed and solved. Numerical solutions for dynamic stress intensity factors in two-dimensional solids with curvilinear cracks are obtained. Dynamic stress concentration factors in an elastic plane with a circular hole under non axisymmetric dynamic loading, impact concentrated forces are obtained.
