The method of the delivery of genetic material locally in the neurons of the lumbar spinal cord was developeded. It was found that blocking the expression of PKC? by introducing highly selective genetic material locally in the lumbar section of the spinal cord shows a significant therapeutic effect on relieving pain caused by prolonged peripheral inflammation.
