Among them are: - estimation of a leaf area index (LAI) and biomass based on LiDAR data and field measurements; - LAI estimation based on multispectral satellite images of medium spatial resolution and field measurements; - assessment of the characteristics of forest plant communities phenological development on the basis of MODIS information products; - assessment of the dynamics and dependencies of the selected parameters for different vegetation test sites from climatic factors; - estimation of productivity of major crops in different landscape-climatic zones of Ukraine using ground truth and satellite data products from MODIS (MOD17); - estimation of land cover moistening using MODIS (MOD11 and MOD13) products for various landscape-climatic zones of Ukraine, primarily southern regions (steppe zone).
