Found that nanobiocomposite has a greater cytotoxic effect compared to lectin on the cell of pancreas carcinoma (Mia-Рa-Сa-2 and Panc-I cell lines), hormone-dependent breast adenocarcinoma cells (MCF-7 line), hormone-sensitive and hormone-resistant prostate cancer cells (LNCaP and Du-145 lines) and human melanoma cells (WM 451 line). IC50 of nanobiocomposite for Mia-Pa-Ca-2, Panc-I, MCF-7 LNCaP, Du-145 and WM 451 cell lines were is 40 - 70% lower than than IC50 after the action of lectin on these cell lines. The most significant manifestations of cytotoxic effects of nanocomposite, identified in breast and prostate cancer lines, are probably due to dysregulation of metal-containing proteins and endogenous iron metabolism.
