The purpose of the work is to improve the sowing qualities of seeds and reduce energy consumption and consumption of chemicals in the processes of pre-sowing preparation. Research methods analysis of force and disinfecting effect of electric field on crop seeds and synthesis of relationships between electrode system parameters and disinfection regimes with seed mass flow rates in the corona discharge field and sowing qualities and yield properties of seeds. The dependence of the indicators of sowing qualities of corn seeds after disinfection in an electric field on the duration of disinfection is obtained. On the basis of the results of the performed researches the construction-technological scheme is developed and the model sample of electrotechnological means of continuous action for disinfection of seeds in an electric field is made. According to the results of a small-scale field experiment, disinfection of «Terek» soybean seeds in an electric field increases the yield by 13.8 - 18.6%.
