The calculation of the expected release of methane within the excavation area, the air consumption for ventilation of the cleaning production and the excavation area, the parameters and mode of degassing of the roof by wells, and the required diameters of the gas pipeline were performed. The "Project of degassing of the excavation area 1043 lava of layer C10v of the mine "Zakhidno-Donbaska" has been developed. "Recommendations on ensuring dust and gas safety of works during the dead-end mining of the western main conveyor stretch of the C5 reservoir when releasing into the fresh stream of air entering for its ventilation, the exit ventilation jet of air from the dead-end mining of the western main conveyor stretch of the C5 reservoir" and "Recommendations on ensuring of gas safety of the excavation area 1043 lava of the C10v formation when using a direct-flow ventilation scheme of type 3-B with isolated removal of methane from the produced space outside the excavation area through rigid pipelines due to the general mine depression".
