The number of KPE (phenotype CD45+/CD34+) in peripheral blood was determined by flow cytometry using reagents for the determination of CD34, CD45 differentiation clusters manufactured by BeckmanCoulter Inc. months after a myocardial infarction and restoration of endothelial function in patients with a favorable course, as evidenced by a statistically higher number of KPE after exercise in the group with a favorable course and high tolerance to physical activity. In patients, a decrease in KPE during exercise is associated with a worse disease prognosis. The de Ritis coefficient in combination with the dynamics of KPE growth can be seen as a strong and independent prognostic predictor of tolerance to physical activity levels in patients after acute MI during long-term follow-up.
