In accordance with the main provisions of the environmental approach, the main stages of its design are substantiated: diagnostic-target, analytical-conceptual, project-modeling, experimental-corrective and reflective-evaluative. The peculiarities of the design of the virtual educational environment and its variability determined by didactic aim, the choice of pedagogical technologies and educational platforms are substantiated; the problem of developing a model of designing the educational and developmental environment of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of digitalization of society during martial law, which includes competence-content, technological, organizational-communicative, managerial, socially-oriented, productive and virtual components, has gained further development; the social concept is proposed as a structural component of the model of the educational and developmental environment of the general secondary education institution; the possibilities and functions of electronic educational resources as an information system in the design of the educational environment of a general secondary education institution in the conditions of digitalization of society are defined; possibilities of AI in the educational information system. The structure of this information system is defined; a model and methodology for the preparation of pedagogical workers for designing a variable component of the content of complete general secondary education in the conditions of digitalization of society was developed.
