Sectoral guidelines for ensuring the traceability of results, guidelines for measurement accuracy, and a methodology for calculating the graph linearity assessment indicator were prepared. Recommendations on the use of parametric and non-parametric criteria to ensure the accuracy and correctness of measurements at the monitoring network were provided. The background concentrations of water chemical composition indicators were calculated and type-specific classifications were developed to assess the ecological status by physicochemical and chemical indicators. Based on the developed methods and techniques, an analysis of the anthropogenic load within individual river basins of Ukraine (by physical and chemical indicators) was carried out, and a map of the balance of nutrients by district was developed.
