The main tasks solved by the scientists of the department in 2024 were: 1. Determining the current state and problems of organizing inclusive education for children with special educational needs in crisis situations, including martial law. 2. Carrying out an analysis of the scientific and methodological support for the training of pedagogical specialists for work in educational institutions with inclusive education. All tasks were completed, in particular: The stage patterns of the development of inclusive education in Ukraine were determined, in particular, the legislative educational context of the approval of inclusive trends was outlined, which made it possible to characterize the progress of changes in the organization of education for children with special educational needs: from spontaneous integration into the general educational space to the development of an inclusive educational environment. Focusing on a new vision in the interpretation of certain historical events and pedagogical phenomena, key milestones were identified at each stage of the formation of inclusive approaches in historical dynamics, which allowed us to single out several important conceptual trends that have clearly emerged in recent years and can become strategically verified ways of developing Ukrainian education in the post-war period. The current state and problems of organizing inclusive education for children with special educational needs in crisis situations, including martial law, were determined. Taking into account the identified problems and requests, an analysis of the scientific and methodological support for the training of pedagogical specialists for work in educational institutions with inclusive education was carried out.
